What to Expect
Because we know you expect the best for your child, we hold our swim teachers to the highest standards. We keep classes small: four students to one teacher for most classes, and six students to one teacher for classes in which parents stay in the water with their babies. These small class sizes ensure that our teachers give each child individual attention, and allow adequate time to gain an understanding of each child’s skills, personality, and learning style.
At the end of each class, your child’s teacher will spend a few minutes communicating with you about your child’s progress. This is a perfect time to ask any questions and learn how to practice skills with your child outside of class.
When you visit Emler, don’t be surprised when staff members know you and your child by name. Each instructor is committed to getting to know your family, helping your child achieve success, and ensuring that your child meets his or her swimming goals by the end of each semester.
